DSC Impassa - Panel Battery Replacement
Using a flat-head screwdriver, pry open the keypad by inserting the screwdriver into the two slots found on the bottom-front of your keypad.
Check what battery form factor your system uses (important as they are not interchangeable):
3.6Ah (SWC Battery HC)
Disconnect the battery.
Unplug the battery from the board on the system. Then use a Phillip’s screwdriver, unscrew the battery holder. The holder should then slide back, allowing you to remove the old battery.
Insert the new battery and reverse all previous steps. Holder should slide back in. Secure with screw. Connect the battery. Place front half of keypad on top of back half and press firmly down. Both halves should snap into place.
