TROUBLE LIGHT [1] - Service Required

 Press [1] to determine specific trouble

[1] Low Battery
Main panel battery less then 11.1V DC

NOTE: This trouble condition will not clear untill the battery voltage is 12.5 V DC min., under load
NOTE: If battery is new allow 1 hour for battery to charge.

  • Check the battery connections.  Black wire to black terminal on battery and Red wire to red terminal on battery
  • If the battery is older then 3 years, you may need to get a replacement battery.
[2] Bell Circuit
  • System cannot sense a siren connection
  • Siren is damaged.
  • Perform a MANUAL test to check to see if the siren sounds.  If no sound please contact Support.
  • If the siren was temporarily disconnected, plesae ensure that the wires wires are connect correctly.  RED to +,  BLACK to -
[3] General System  Trouble
System interconnection

[4] General System Tamper
A tamper input on a module(s) is open (triggered)
Please contact support for assistance with troubleshooting this trouble indication.  An on-site service call may be required.
[5] Module Supervision
System cannot communicat to a module(s)
Please contact support for assistance with troubleshooting this trouble indication.  An on-site service call may be required.
[6] RF Jam Detected
Wireless Reciever - excessive noise detected
Please contact support for assistance with troubleshooting this trouble indication.  An on-site service call may be required.
[7] PC5204 Low battery
PC5204 battery less than 11.5VDC
NOTE: This trouble condition will not clear until the battery voltage is 12.5VDC min., under load

[8] PC5204 AC Failure
No power to the PC5204 module
Check the power adapter plug. Make sure it is plugged in securely

TROUBLE LIGHT [3] - Telephone Line Trouble

No phone line detect
  • Check phones.  If no dial tone, please call your phone service provider.
    • If the land line phone service was removed, please contact support
  • Check to see if your phone service provider is doing any service in the area

TROUBLE LIGHT [4] - Telephone Line Trouble

System failed to communicate to the monitoring station
  • Check phones.  If no dial tone, please call your phone service provider.
    • If the land line phone service was removed, please contact support
  • Check to see if your phone service provider is doing any service in the area
  • Perform a MANUAL TEST

TROUBLE LIGHT [5] - Zone Fault

Press [5] to determine specific zones with a fault trouble

Resistor missing on smoke detector
Remove smoke detector from base.  (becarefull not to pull too hard as there are wires connected to the back) check to see if the resistor is on the back of the device.  If missing please contact Support.

TROUBLE LIGHT [6] - Zone Tamper

Press [6] to determine specific zones with a tamper trouble

Door Sensor: cover not on correctly
Remove cover & put back on.  Make sure the cover snaps on completely.
Motion Detector: Not mounted on the back plate properly
Remove detector off the back plate.  When placing the sensor back on.  There are two latch points (upper and lower).  The sensor must grab both to clear the tamper
CO Detector: Not mounted on back plate properly
Remove detector off the back plate.  Make sure the sensor is completely flat on the back plate.
Smoke Detector: Not mounted on back plate properly
Remove detector off the back plate.  Make sure the sensor is completely flat on the back plate.

TROUBLE LIGHT [7] - Wireless Device Low Battery

Press [7] to to toggle through specific devices with low battery trouble

Troubleshooting
1st press = Wireless Zones
2nd press = Wireless Keypads
3rd press = Wireless Key fobs
One or more wireless devices has a low battery

NOTE: The event will not be logged to the event buffer until the wireless device low battery delay time expires
Replace battery

NOTE: Replacing batteries will cause a tamper. Replacing cover will restore the tamper causing the associated reporting codes to be sent to the monitoring station

TROUBLE LIGHT [8] - Loss of Clock/Date

Troubleshooting
System time & date not correct or not set.
To program the time and date:
  • Enter [*][6][Master Code] then Press [1]
  • Enter the time and date (in military) using the following format: HH:MM MM/DD/YY

Example
. For 6:00 pm, June 29, 2010
Enter:
[18] [00] [06] [29] [10]

TROUBLE MENU ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

To acknowledge and override any trouble alerts, access the Trouble Menu ([*][2]), press [9]. The trouble alert should clear. Press [#] to exit the menu if necessary.
