Alarm.com - Smoke Sensor Reset


If you have set off your Smoke Sensor, it may still need to be reset. This is done through your account at Alarm.com. The Smoke Sensor Not Reset trouble condition indicates a system smoke sensor was activated, but the condition has not yet cleared from the Alarm.com servers.

How to resolve:

This trouble condition can only be removed using the Customer Website at Alarm.com.

To remove this trouble condition visit the Customer Website:
  1. Log in using your account username and password.
  2. On the Home page, click Alerts and Issues.
  3. In Alerts & Issues, locate Smoke Sensor Must Be Reset (Sensor Name), then click Remove Alert.

If the error returns, you may need to replace the batteries in the sensor with fresh, name-brand batteries. If the trouble condition persists after troubleshooting, contact Reed Security Support
