Qolsys IQ Panel 2 - Rebooting when Unresponsive

On rare occasions, the IQ Panel 2 will become unresponsive to tapping the screen. At this time, the system has likely locked up (like your cell phone or computer). You can try a forced power down/reboot process by disconnecting the power from the panel. 

Read below instructions before performing forced reboot.

1. Disconnect the power transformer from the power outlet.

2. Remove the bottom screw then press both bottom tabs to remove the front face-plate. 

3. Rotate the front cover down and hang the strap onto the back plate. 

3. Unplug the battery connector from the circuit board.

4. Wait at least 15 seconds with the panel completely powered down before reconnecting the battery.

5. Rotate front cover up into normal position and reattach front plate.

6. Plug power transformer back into power outlet.

7. Wait a 3-4 minutes then press and hold the side button for 4 seconds to power up.

Do NOT hold this button longer or you run the risk of factory defaulting your panel (which may require an onsite service call to correct).
