DSC PC 1616/1832/1864 - Manage user codes

Your keypad may look like this:

Please Note that user code 40 is your master code
For a PC 1616 you have 1-48 user slots
For a PC 1832 you have 1-72 user slots
For a PC 1864 you have 1-95 user slots

 Add an Access Code:

·

  1. Press the * button followed by 5
  2. Enter your system’s master code (this is the main access code usually given to the main contact)
  3. The “Armed” light will illuminate on the keypad, and the “program” or “System Indicator” light will begin to flash.
  4. Select the two digit users code to program (e.g., for user # 2, enter 0 2)
  5. If you have a Full Message LCD Keypad (PK5500), use the < or > keys to scroll to the user you wish to program and press *
  6. Using the number keys, enter the four-digit Access Code (ie: 1, 2, 3, 4)
  7. When programming is complete, you can enter another 2 digit code to program another code, or Press# to exit

Remove an Access Code:

  1. Press the * button followed by 5
  2. Enter your system’s master code (this is the main access code usually given to the main contact)
  3. The “Armed” light will illuminate on the keypad, and the “program” or “System Indicator” light will begin to flash
  4. Select the two digit users code to program (the system has space for 32 users, so for user # 2, enter 0, 2)
  5. If you have a Full Message LCD Keypad (PK5500), use the < or > keys to scroll to the user you wish to program and press *
  6. With the user selected press *. This will delete the code.
  7. Press # to exit Programming

·         You’re done!

We recommend:
1) You keep a record of which people are assigned to each 2-Digit User Slot
2) You do not use the Master Code as an access code; provide each user their own separate access code
