Reboot or factory reset a SkyBell Doorbell Camera

The SkyBell Doorbell Camera can be rebooted locally using the doorbell's button.

Option one: Doorbell Button reboot
  1. Press and hold the [Skybell] button (face of device) for approximately 50 seconds.
  2. Release after the button starts flashing blue.

SkyBell HD Wi-Fi Doorbell Camera (ADC-VDB101/102):

Option two: Pinhole button reboot

Note: Only the Slim Line Wi-Fi Doorbell Camera (ADC-VDB105/106) has a pinhole reboot button.

  1. Using a paper clip or something similar, press and hold the pinhole button (located on bottom of device).
  2. Release after 30 seconds.

Factory reset a SkyBell Doorbell Camera

Caution: This action deletes all Wi-Fi and configuration information from the device.

  1. Press and hold the [Skybell] button for approximately 80 seconds.
  2. Release after the button starts flashing yellow. The Doorbell Camera then reboots and reverts to AP mode (i.e., flashing red and green LED).
