Alarm.com - Manually record video clips

Alarm.com customers with live video enabled can request a video device recording using the Customer Website or app at any time. Manually requested video clips are approximately 50-60 seconds in length, including about 10-15 seconds of footage from before the button press.

Note: The SkyBell Doorbell Camera cannot manually record clips.

To manually record video clips using the Customer Website:

  1. Log into the Customer Website.
  2. Click Video.
  3. On the desired video device, click Manually record clip. 
  4. To view recorded video clips, click Saved Video Clips.

To manually record video clips using the Customer app:

  1. Log into the Customer app.
  2. Tap Menu. 
  3. Tap Video.
  4. On the desired video device, tap .
  5. Tap Record video. 
  6. Tap Ok.
  7. To view recorded video clips, tap Saved.
