Alarm.com - Add Z-Wave devices remotely

Customers can enroll devices remotely

With the Add Device Portal, customers can also enroll certain devices themselves using the Customer Website or Customer app.

Important: The Add Device Portal must be enabled for the following options to appear. 

To enroll Z-Wave devices using the Customer Website:icn-chevron-up.svg 
  1. Log into the Customer Website.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. Click Manage Devices.
  4. Click Add Device.
  5. Click to select what type of device to install (e.g., Lock, Lighting and Appliance Control , etc.).
  6. Follow the prompts to enroll the Z-Wave device.

  1. Log into the Customer app. 
  2. Tap Menu.
  3. Tap Add Device.
  4. Tap to select what type of device to install (e.g., Lock, Lighting and Appliance Control , etc.).
  5. Follow the prompts to enroll the Z-Wave device.
